Telephony to keep your organisation connected

Telephony is the foundation of your business communications. It enables internal collaboration and external engagement – and has evolved beyond voice to encompass an array of data-rich applications.

A roadmap to unified communications

Traditional voice communications are still essential to every business – but they have been augmented with data-rich communications including videoconferencing, instant messaging, email and collaboration software.

You still need a robust and reliable voice telephony system, enabling you to make and receive calls both internally and externally. But you also need to support increasingly flexible and mobile working practices, and get ready for BT’s ultimate digital switchover by 2025. Ultimately, you need to embrace unified communications, whereby you can support high-quality and collaborative interactions across multiple channels, and share information seamlessly between them.

However, there is no universal approach to business telephony, and no one-size-fits-all roadmap to unified communications. Perhaps you need to migrate from ISDN to SIP trunking, in order to achieve great cost-effectiveness and flexibility ahead of BT’s digital switchover. Perhaps you need to entirely rip and replace your existing systems – without downtime or disruption – or perhaps you need a hybrid solution which will leverage your existing investment whilst moving towards hosted telephony.

Our approach

Adept4 is well-versed in a consultancy approach to discover exactly what you need and the most cost-effective and efficient way of getting there.

We offer all types of phone system: on-premise, virtualised and cloud hosted, as well as hybrid systems which mix and match the best combination of these elements to suit your needs.

On-premise PBX

On-premise PBX solutions may be based on digital, analogue, IP or SIP technology, according to your business’s scale, sector and operational needs. An on-premise call control system gives your organisation the tightest possible control over adding and deleting users and expanding your features. We work exclusively with Mitel, which provides a wide range of industry-leading technologies to suit your needs.

Virtualised PBX

Virtualising your PBX enables all voice and non-voice applications to be run in the same virtualised environment, delivering streamlined management, reduced costs and improved productivity. Is your organisation ready to virtualise voice? We can help you decide – and if the answer is yes, we can guide you seamlessly through the transition. Mitel is the original trailblazer in this space, announcing the first support for real-time voice applications on virtual servers back in 2009, and we are experts in deploying and supporting its virtualisation technology.

Cloud telephony

Cloud telephony takes away all the hassle of managing your own PBX, whether hardware-based or virtualised, and hosts your phone system remotely in the cloud. This means maximum flexibility, scalability and agility, a reduced burden for your in-house IT team and a solid foundation for diverse unified communications features. We offer Gamma hosted telephony, the Eve hosted phone system and Microsoft Teams, in order to tailor a hosted telephony solution to precisely suit your needs.
