Enhancements to the existing Spend & Savings Management system utilised by Xchanging have helped to advance existing workflow processes and maintain a quality controlled service to customers in line with business growth.
Global Business Processing company Xchanging has enhanced its procurement management service through the centralisation of their existing system and the development of additional system modules implemented by managed IT services provider adept4.
Due to business growth Xchanging required a system that would consolidate its procurement management database to accommodate increasing demands. adept4 implemented new modules into the database, integrating additional functionalities to enable synchronisation, compliance and efficiency, allowing Xchanging to deliver a more effective service to its customers.
Michael Batty, CFO for Xchanging’s Procurement Services division, said: “We had an idea of how we wanted the new modules to behave and approached adept4 with our specifications, their feedback and consultative advice have helped us to enhance our original ideas to develop an improved solution.
“Integrating the updated version of the system was a complex process but adept4 were very responsive and flexible to any issues we had and managed the deployment extremely well. The ability for users to synchronise local data and document changes with a centralised server together with enhanced reporting facilities now gives us a more accurate view of our customers’ data, which provides us with better information to work from. The new improved functionalities help to make our work more effective, enabling us to deliver a better ROI to our customers. We have been really pleased with the work done.”
As part of the project adept4 implemented three new modules into Xchanging’s Access database.
