01 October, 2009 – Cheshire-based IT managed services provider, adept4, has appointed Steve Cosgrove as Chief Operating Officer. Steve, who was previously IT director at Focus DIY, will use his expertise to improve resource management and strengthen business operations, helping adept4 grow as more and more blue chip companies look for ways to improve IT efficiency with them.
Peter Birkett, Chief Executive Officer said: “In the past two years adept4 has seen tremendous growth adding new services and delivering IT efficiencies for companies both nationally and internationally. By joining the board Steve will bring with him over 30 years experience working in major organisations and his understanding of operations and efficiencies will be invaluable as adept4 continues to grow.
He continued; “Steve will take now a key role in helping to develop adept4 to capitalise on our success and provide support to our growing client base.”
Launched in 2007, adept4 recently announced an increase in turnover by over 250% in the past year and 10 new jobs in customer services and technical support.
Steve Cosgrove said: “The services adept4 provide are highly regarded by their customers and unlike many other businesses at the moment, the company is showing continued growth despite the current economic climate. Being given the chance to help support and continue that growth is a great opportunity and I look forward to being a key member of the team and adding real value to the business.”
