IT inefficiency contributes to business failure
According to the Office for National Statistics in the last quarter of 2009 there were over 3000 companies that were wound up. Although much lower than the previous recession it is true to say that improvements in business efficiency could of saved many companies.
Often companies ignore business efficiency in times of crisis, they concentrate on generating more sales and forget that it may be able to make considerable cost savings within an organisation by improving the way it operates and how workers communicate.
IT business efficiency is just one way in which companies can make significant savings. From outsourcing day to day management of servers and firewalls through to providing remote or flexible working solutions considerable savings can be made as it can free up IT staff who can then concentrate on the delivery of the products or services as well as improve the flow of information enabling services to be delivered more quickly and efficiently.
If your business is looking at ways to improve profitability as well as secure your long term future your IT infrastructure could hold the key to your success.
